ABOUT WHITE BOX STUDIO
FOUNDED BY GIANLUCA VASSALLO IN 2014, TODAYWHITE BOX STUDIO GIVES VOICE TO CINEMA, PHOTOGRAPHY AND OTHER DERIVATIVES OF SARDINIAN ARTISTS.
MADDALENA SATTA
Born in 1984, she is a producer and CEO of White Box Studio. An avid reader, she loves animals more than humans. She produces with faith in reality and a stubborn defense of work ethics. Among the crew, she is known as "the Unionist" for her obsession with fair pay.
GIANLUCA VASSALLO
50 years old. Photographer and director. He has directed two feature films ( The Chair , The Place ), several documentaries ( I Just Wanted to Know How You Are , James vs Wines ) and The Lunch, a film that travels around the world. His cinema, according to his father, is a “sum of his uselessness”.
MERCEDES CORVEDDU
Age undisclosed. This is his second film as assistant director. During the journey of The Lunch , he also worked on his own personal project, bringing LGBTQ+ themes into the film. He loves cats more than humans. Rural Queer, currently in production, is his debut film.
FRANCESCO MANNIRONI
42 years old. Co-founder of White Box Studio. Co-director with Vassallo of Volevo solo sapere come stai and Libertà . A refined photographer. He has been writing his first solo film for 12 years.
ROBERTO VERBENA
He forgets the years but not the cigarettes. Photographer, retoucher, photography assistant, and camera operator. He and Vassallo will quit smoking one day, but better the next .
